Couple Recipes For Chicken European Way

Chicken is one of the foods we eat often, however, usual ways of preparation can get boring pretty quick. Here are two delicious recipes for amazing chicken.

Marinated chicken


– 1 whole chicken
– 200 g of smoked bacon strips
– 4 onions
– 250 grams of fresh mushrooms
– 100 g of butter
– 3 carrots
– 2 laurel leaves
– 2 cloves of garlic
– 1 teaspoon of dried thyme
– 1 tbsp of tomato puree
– Salt and ground black pepper



Cut chicken into pieces and put it in a deeper bowl. Add the thyme, bay leaves, cloves of and garlic. Put nylon wrap over the bowl and leave it to marinate overnight. Cut bacon stripes into narrow stripes. Fry them in a pan on the stove and put on a plate lined with paper napkins.

Cut mushrooms into slices and fry in 30g of melted butter, add the salt, pepper and stir. Take out roasted mushrooms from the pan. Take pieces of chicken out of the marinade. Add tomato puree to dish with marinade and stir. Put marinade in the pan on the stove and cook until thickened.

Take ceramic dish and grease it with 50 g of butter. Cut carrots into circles and put it in a ceramic dish. Cut onion into slices and add to the dish with carrots. Then add the toasted slices of mushrooms and chicken pieces. Add salt, the fried bacon and remaining butter.

Season with pepper, add the marinade and cover ceramic dish. Put it in the preheated oven on 220 degrees, bake for 2 hours and remove it from the oven. On a plate for serving put two rounds previously cooked potatoes. On top serve chicken and decorate with a sprig of parsley.

Chicken drumstick with garlic and lemon


– 8 chicken drumsticks
– 1 lemon
– 2 tablespoons of flour
– 3 chicken bouillon cubes
– 60 g of butter
– 20 cloves of garlic
– Olive oil
– Salt and ground black pepper


In a saucepan pour 850 ml of water and put on the stove. When it boils put in the cubes to cook soup, add cloves of garlic. Add salt and pepper to chicken drumsticks and fry them in a mixture of melted butter and olive oil in a grill pan on the stove. When they become golden brown, line them up in a baking dish.

On the remaining fat fry the flour, while stirring with a spoon. In a frying pan with fried flour, add bouillon and in a baking dish add cooked cloves of garlic. Peel the lemon and then cut the peel into thin, oblong pieces and add to the bowl. Put everything from a frying pan and pour on top of the chicken drumsticks.

Close it with the aluminum foil and put in the preheated oven to 200 degrees. Bake for 40 minutes and remove the dish from the oven. Decorate serving plate with lettuce. In the middle of the plate apply pre-cooked rice. Next to it lay drumsticks and pour the baking pan sauce on top.
