As we all know Paris is a home to a tower that is a symbol of France and of Europe, one of the most famous avenues in the world.

It also has imposing historical monuments, museums and castles with invaluable treasures, and the ultimate seductive food. Paris is true fashion destination and unavoidable target of lovers of art. The famous buildings that gained international fame, cuisine and romantic, almost mythical, notion of the city of light and love, make this one of the best places for vacation.

This city offers all this, it is one of the oldest and most beautiful European cities, with a history of two millennia, the guardian of memories whose traces, preserved in the form of the cathedral, canvases, museum exhibitions, market, now made it one of the most exclusive cities in the world.

Founded in the third century BC, Paris is probably named after a Celtic tribe of Paris. Sena is another name for Paris, and it is something that makes this city magnificent.

Because of this it is one of the first places that tourists from all over the world visit when they find themselves in the city, after which they come to the shore and then continue to choose according to their own interests.

However, there are some placesthat you have to see, otherwise visit this city was pointless. One of them is Montmartre (Montmartre), the meeting place of bohemians and artists, part of the city that still preserves its specific spirit, partly because of its appearance, winding streets and old houses, which most faithfully preserve the memory of the appearance of an old Paris. It is located in the north and is the highest point from which it is possible to see the panorama of unspoiled capital.

Here you can see the church Sacre Coeurthe, second highest point of Paris, with a height of 203 meters. It was designed in the 19th century. Next to the church of Montmartre, even more interesting is the Cathedral of Notre Dame, centuries-old symbol of Paris, built between 1163 and 1235.godine. The cathedral is the epitome of gothic style which charms with its magnificence.

There is also Louvre, a museum that today houses one of the richest art collections in the world. Orsay Museum (Le Musee d’Orsay) also keeps valuable collection made up entirely of works of art created in the 19th century, and the Centre Georges Pompidou is dedicated to modern art. Fans of creativity of Picasso or Rodin will surely visit museums dedicated to these artists.

And lovers of performing arts also have a wide selection. The theater Comédie-Française, founded in late 17th century enjoys the status of a legendary place. Its fame and history are associated with large playwright Moliere. This is one of the five major theaters in Paris, and it was founded on the orders of Louis XIV, which has so far played over 3,000 performances.

Theater Moulin Rouge, on the other hand, gives out completely different vibe. The most famous France’s Avenue, filled with famous restaurants, cafes and exclusive shops, is one of the most famous streets in the world. Its trendy spirit simply has to be experienced, from beginning to end, which means from the Concorde Square (Square of Louis XV, designed between 1755 in 1775) to the Arc de Triomphe.

Every part of Paris, and each of its twenty arrondissements, has its own poetics – ancient or modern, artistic or industrial. As seen from the Eiffel Tower in the heart of the Mars field or from the stairs of the church of Montmartre, this town leaves a unique impression mainly due to the fact that it mixes the old and the new, current and legendary.
