2. La Roque – Gageac

La Roque – Gageac is one of the most beautiful villages located in France.Riverside houses built just underneath the cliffs will take your breath away. Chateau da la Malartrie is there for those seeking interesting architecture from the 19th century.

Up the cliffs, you will be able to find medieval houses as well as some troglodyte caves. Landmark of this small village would be the Manoir the Tarde, a 15thcentury manor which provides and amazing view of La Roque. Interestingly you will see palm trees and other tropical vegetation around so don’t be surprised. 4. Cano Cristales

Many people call Cano Cristales the river of five colors. For years this place was closed due to security issues but now we finally have the opportunity to see this unique spot.

For half a year, the river is pretty normal but from June to November the rainbow like display can be seen. Multiple colors are result of the river’s mosses and algaes. Cano Cristales is located in Sierra de la Macarena in Colombia. Only a few humble hotels are present in la Macarena but you probably won’t spend too much time there since the river is main attraction. Local tour guides organize groups of up to 20 people for Cano Cristales visit. This place is exceptional piece of nature so if you have the opportunity to visit, don’t miss it.

5. Korcula

The island of Korcula is one of Croatia’s top destinations for 2016. Medieval squares and churches are giving this island a personality. Korcula Town, Vela Luka and Lumbarda are the main resorts on the island, but for those looking for more peaceful holiday there are plenty of small villages and towns around the island.

This is one of Croatia’s most cherished islands even though the country has more popular locations like Brac or Hvar.
