The hectic lifestyle often requires us to complete some of the work at home, and given the lack of jobs in the labor market sometimes we are forced to start our own career at the kitchen table or in a remote and underutilized corner of the living room, as many known entrepreneurs, designers, computer scientists, architects and other did.

There is no need for a home office to be big, but it is necessary when planning to devote a lot of attention to the organization and functionality, also the atmosphere is very important, it needs to get you motivated and it needs to be stimulating.

For a start, it is necessary to locate the part of the space in which you will place a desk and everything you need for a better and more productive work. It is desirable that that you find a place near the window in order to have as much natural light and fresh air, also the view from it is often very soothing.

If this is not possible, decorate the wall above the table with a variety of motivational messages, images, photographs or anything that you find stimulating. Lighting should be rich and in color that mimics daylight, but be sure to install a smaller, desk lamp for better lighting during work.

Once you have made up your mind about the part where you will place your working corner, turn to organizing the books, papers, documents and other things necessary for work.

The advantage of home office is that you have complete freedom to meet your own needs and tastes.

Use the walls around the table to make the shelves on which you can arrange a variety of boxes and folders that you can use for the organization of papers, documents and accounts.

Decorate table with interesting colorful cups for pens, pencils and other things you use, and also use sticky papers in a variety of colors on which you will write various reminders, ideas, etc. It would be desirable to put the office in the part of the apartment where you will have plenty of peace and quiet in order to carry out your tasks more efficiently.

One of the most important investments for the home office you will need is certainly an ergonomic chair that supports your spine and therefore preserves the health of your back. This way you will be able to concentrate on the job more easily. A well-designed office is the key to success, and your own personality and taste should spice up the creativity and make atmosphere much more pleasant compared to standard office.
